I’m delighted to be here.
Hello.
This is just a simple hello from me as I launch my new clinic. My new brand. My new Flow.
There is something miraculous about movement. The gentle spaces that become available between words. The deeper breaths we can take. The pauses between our thoughts. It’s the space between an inhale and an exhale - when we notice this place, it’s because we have finally shoveled away some of the crap that made it nearly impossible to feel clear and calm before. These spaces are an indication that we’re moving back into a fluid state - Flow.
The lack of movement is called stagnation. There are other words we can use: stuck, stasis, accumulation… Bottom line: when there is too much stagnating in our lives - in our bodies or our minds, or when our emotions just aren’t moving through anymore - this is the stuff that, over time, can lead to disease, illness, or a general state of meh or blah. This feels bad.
In reality, feeling bad is totally OK. Feeling badly sometimes is a part of life. There is wisdom in it. We don’t get to feel good all of the time, and we certainly don’t get to feel neutral all of the time, either. Such as I understand it, this is human nature. The key is that none of these settings, good, bad, or neutral, become our only setting. And that they move within us like a waveform - ebbing and flowing depending on our circumstances. The timing of these waves is an entirely different story!
I’m truly happy to meet you here in this new place - this new post, on this new site, in this new space I am in. My new physical space and my new mental space. My new creative space.
I have just closed a life chapter within a book capturing the last five or so years of my life (stories and reflections on this later), and now I am writing the introduction of a new one. The unfolding of a new acupuncture practice. The redesign of the way I spend time with my loved ones. And a conscious walking toward easy.
I am so looking forward to walking alongside you on your own path toward easier, freer, spaciousness - toward your Flow.
